About Us

onHand is the world’s first on-demand employee volunteering app, letting volunteers see and accept Missions for those who need help nearby or remotely. It’s been called the ‘Uber for volunteers' by IBM in the Loneliness and Ageing Report and was set up in collaboration with several leading charities including the Red Cross, RNIB and Water Aid.

onHand partners with companies all over the country to help their employees feel good, by doing good in their communities. AGE UK, Independent Age, the British Red Cross, NHS teams, Youth Mentoring and Food Waste organisations and sustainability charities across the country all refer to onHand for simple help.

Founder Sanjay Lobo, formerly on the exec team at UK unicorn Lastminute.com, was named Entrepreneur for Good by the 2020 Great British Entrepreneur Awards. onHand closed Pre-A investment funding of £1 Million in April 2021 led by Northstar Ventures and angels including Dhiraj Mukherjee, co-founder of Shazam.
